On February 18, 2016, In North of America fish have new hopes for home. Fish have new hopes because scientists want to develop templates on habitat restoration. The federal government lists 28 populations of salmon and steelhead on the West Coast that need protections. This is due to low numbers. This is despite spending millions of dollars every year on restoration efforts.
It’s important because if the scientist is not gonna do that, some types of fish will extinct and some other animals will extinct too because they don’t have enough food.
